We are constantly being told that ID cards will protect us from everything from Terrorism to Benefit Fraud, ID theft to illegal Immigration – despite no evidence being provided to show this will be the case
However, the Register behind the cards will be used to build up a picture of our lives, and effectively track us from cradle to grave!
ID Cards and the National Identity Register, The DNA database, The Children’s database, The NHS ‘spine’ database, surveillance of all our personal communications, ANPR vehicle tracking, CCTV surveillance.
The Government wants to know all our personal details and movements. Slowly but surely a database state is being built around us.
And not content with just recording our personal data, the Government has sneaked into the Coroners and Justice Bill a single clause (152) that means that any data they hold on you can be ‘shared’ with any department or any private company.
Would you be happy for example, for your personal health record to be sold to an insurance company?
And given the current economic crisis, more than ever is it not further madness that they are still intent on spending tens of billions of pounds of our money on these schemes?

issues, there is a chance to learn to
